- Options will be presented for GED prep classes, study guides -for purchase, free practice questions, tutorials, and additional purchases if you choose. The TEST is FREE to New Yorkers.
- This question will ask you where you have tested in the past and the approximate date
- You must check off the box and Verify that you are a resident of New York for at least 30 days and that you have identification. Your ID must be government-issued and non-expired. It must also include your name, address, date of birth, signature, and photograph.
- The required age eligibility form for test takers under age 19 can be found within the GED registration system.
- Candidates can test 3 times per year, with a waiting period of 60 days between attempts or failure to appear as scheduled. (You can cancel 24 hours in advance without penalty.)
