This spring you can enjoy these fascinating aspects of Jewish folklore without having taken Part I of the course, or having any background in Jewish Literature. After reading some new translated stories by Isaac Bashevis Singer, we'll turn to contemporary works written in English, but inspired by ancient tales. There will be a special focus on golems - a surprisingly popular subject in 20th and 21st Century Jewish American writing!
