CLEP & DSST Testing

Nassau Community College is a public test center. Nassau students, please review the Nassau CLEP Equivalency list to identify score requirements and accepted exams. https://www.ncc.edu/continuingeducation/collegelevelexamprogram.shtml

All CLEP candidates, Modern States offers a free, on-line self paced review. Candidates that complete the review are eligible for a voucher to cover the cost of the exam and the NCC administrative processing fee. https://modernstates.org/

Before registering here for your CLEP exam, CLEP candidates must create an account with The College Board. https://clep.collegeboard.org When registering for the exam through the College Board website, do not choose the remote option. NCC does not support the remote option.

If you received the Modern State voucher, you can use that to pay the CLEP test fee. If not, you pay the $93 CLEP test fee with a credit or debit card to the College Board

You will receive a CLEP Exam Registration Ticket after you registered. Bring that ticket on the day of testing.

DSST candidates register for a CLEP date. The exam fees are paid to Prometric on the day of testing. https://www.prometric.com/test-takers/search/dsst

Arrive 15 minutes before the start time for your exam.

Late arrivals cannot be seated.

A valid goverment issued photo ID is required to test.

Bring a copy of your CLEP egistration ticket.

DSST candidates must have a valid credit card to pay Prometric DSST fees on the day of testing.

The exam will be in Building U The Center for Students with Disabilities.

Use this google link or search Nassau Community College Theatre for classroom directions. The Center for Students with Disabilities, Door # 4 is directly across from the theatre.
