NY State Driver Program   

 

The Impaired Driver Program (IDP) at Nassau Community College is designed for individuals who need to fulfill requirements set by the New York Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) after receiving an alcohol or drug-related driving violation. 

The program consists of weekly classes, each lasting approximately 2 to 2½ hours, covering topics related to impaired driving. Class does not meet on holidays and meeting times may be extended to meet DMV requirements  If you are sick, your instructor will provide a make-up date. Participants that cannot attend the first class meeting will need to reschedule to a new start date via email: idp@ncc.edu,
